Как член Одесского общества истории и древностей, впервые описал свои путешествия в Черкесию на французском языке в 1821, последнее издание на английском языке осуществлено в Лондоне (1837). Описания путешествий включают ценный материал по территории и населению западных адыгов, их традиционной культуре, хозяйственному укладу и общественно-политическому строю. |
